The room was lovely, very spacious and the huge bed very comfy. The whole hotel had a relaxed and chilled feel. The staff were very helpful and the communication beforehand was excellent, we even got a free room upgrade, bottle of wine and chocolates. Breakfast was excellent and set in a lovely area, spacious with views of the garden and terrace which would be lovely to use in warmer times. We had an evening meal in the bar, the staff were excellent and the food very good with good portions (typical hotel prices). The gym and pool area was much better than expected. The staff were very helpful and a decent range of equipment. The spa type heated loungers in the pool area were a bonus! Although the hotel is fairly close to a major road (so easy for getting to places quickly) there was absolutely no noise and the location and substantial grounds with the river at the bottom were very peaceful. The hotel has a modern feel (wide corridors) but chilled and comfortable, though the lounge and bar area was a mix of old fashioned and modern (with views of the gardens) and is a lovely area to chill or work! Go to the gym and pool when it's not open to kids if you want an extremely chilled time, we often had the place to ourselves.

Such friendly staff thoughout hotel. Pool and spa were great. Had a lovely spa treatment and felt wonderful after. Pool area is always kept clean. Bedrooms are very comfy with ironing board and iron, tea and coffee area. Plenty of hanger in the open cloths area. Breakfast have vast amounts of verity. Something for everyones taste. Breakfast room tends to get busy around 9am. All in all we had a great break at the chesford grange. This was our third visit and will return. My only negitive is that wheelchair users have to take the long path around the building to get to the back garden area. No access to the raised decking area and seats.

We took our small dog with us so it's always a concern what kind of access we will have to outdoor space and we could not have been happier. Great size room with a door straight out on to the lawn and a lovely walk through the trees just beyond. We also have an electric car and the charging points actually worked! It would be better if they had a few more but maybe one they will. Excellent breakfast provided with lots of choice but it does get busy around 9am, we had great weather so sitting outside with the dog wasn't a problem. Not sure where we would sit if it was raining though?

A fabulous stay! We went to visit Warwick castle and Stratford Upon Avon, and this hotel was a great location. We ate at the restaurant on our first night and the food was excellent. Nika, our waitress, was really lovely and helped us with everything. Recommend the oyster mushroom ragu! The swimming pool was nice, although I recommend checking when the children’s swim classes are before heading down if you want the full pool. My partner also absolutely loved the breakfast as well. Room was comfy and never heard a neighbour. A really lovely weekend spot.

Room was clean, quiet (as requested), and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. I stayed for one night. I arrived in the evening but the entrance was not very well-lit and I entered through the fire exit and was unable to find any signs to reception. The receptionist did not inform me of the breakfast times or whereabouts of the breakfast room but the breakfast included in my booking was excellent. My only real complaint was that I would have liked to open the window in my room. The window was locked shut although it was clearly fitted with a limiter.
