Lovely venue, easy to find by car, and all the staff we encountered were welcoming, friendly and helpful. We stayed for two nights, which included an excellent buffet breakfast. Our room was very comfortable and spacious (booked as a "Classic Twin Room") with tea/coffee/biscuits available and all toiletries that you'd need in the bathroom. It was nice to have an iron and full size ironing board in the room too. We felt some hotel information in the room would be helpful, especially a bar menu, which would have been handy. We had an evening meal on Saturday night in the bar area. Limited choice, but the food we ordered was very good indeed - expect to pay hotel prices for food and drinks! Some reviews talk about the noise levels in the hotel. There was a wedding party at the hotel on the Saturday evening which made the bar area understandably louder than normal, but once we were in our room, we didn't really hear a thing. The grounds from the bar area were lovely, with seating outside and we discovered a nature trail accessible from the main car park which was very beautiful at this time of year with bluebells and bird song. Nice to have an 11 o'clock checkout so we could have a little lie-in. Thank you for a lovely stay Chesford.

The room was lovely, very spacious and the huge bed very comfy. The whole hotel had a relaxed and chilled feel. The staff were very helpful and the communication beforehand was excellent, we even got a free room upgrade, bottle of wine and chocolates. Breakfast was excellent and set in a lovely area, spacious with views of the garden and terrace which would be lovely to use in warmer times. We had an evening meal in the bar, the staff were excellent and the food very good with good portions (typical hotel prices). The gym and pool area was much better than expected. The staff were very helpful and a decent range of equipment. The spa type heated loungers in the pool area were a bonus! Although the hotel is fairly close to a major road (so easy for getting to places quickly) there was absolutely no noise and the location and substantial grounds with the river at the bottom were very peaceful. The hotel has a modern feel (wide corridors) but chilled and comfortable, though the lounge and bar area was a mix of old fashioned and modern (with views of the gardens) and is a lovely area to chill or work! Go to the gym and pool when it's not open to kids if you want an extremely chilled time, we often had the place to ourselves.

The staff are very friendly and the place itself is great to relax in. Having experience of hotels ,this one appeals to me more than most. The location is a big plus. Not far from Kenilworth or Leamington Spa, it feels as if you are way out , deep in the countryside. The building itself has had improvements but retains an old-world charm, yet the hotel has the technical modernity that is now expected . I know there are Spa hotels that have facilities for lots more people to lounge around in face masks and fluffy designer dressing gowns, but I like what is provided at Chesford Grange. My shoulders and neck were released from their stressful bondage of knotted muscle and contracted connective tissue, but after only one massage session arranged in the Spa/ Leisure area which is in the process of being upgraded ! It has been a stressful last 3 years for me ,so it was lovely to find a hotel that ticked all my boxes . I even found out there's a steam room, which is perfect for a detox. So I have decided to stay an extra day and night as an investment in my own health and well-being.

Bedrooms are very comfy with ironing board and iron, tea and coffee area. Plenty of hanger in the open cloths area. Breakfast have vast amounts of verity. Something for everyones taste. Breakfast room tends to get busy around 9am. All in all we had a great break at the chesford grange. This was our third visit and will return. My only negitive is that wheelchair users have to take the long path around the building to get to the back garden area. No access to the raised decking area and seats.

A fabulous stay! We went to visit Warwick castle and Stratford Upon Avon, and this hotel was a great location. We ate at the restaurant on our first night and the food was excellent. Nika, our waitress, was really lovely and helped us with everything. Recommend the oyster mushroom ragu! The swimming pool was nice, although I recommend checking when the children’s swim classes are before heading down if you want the full pool. My partner also absolutely loved the breakfast as well. Room was comfy and never heard a neighbour. A really lovely weekend spot.
